What happens to your tip

We verify before we act. Public records, document review, interviews. The work before the case.
We follow up only if you asked us to. If you checked the background or anonymous box, we keep your name out of it.
We publish or refer. If it's a story, we write it. If it's a case, we take it, or point you to someone who can.

On privacy

This form is not a secure drop. For stronger protection, if you're worried about your employer, a government agency, or anyone else seeing that you reached out, tell us in the form and we'll set up a secure channel before you send the sensitive material.
