ADOT has studied the corridor. Improvements have been recommended. As of April 2026, the road still looks the same as it did when the crashes happened.

Pinal County Jurisdiction

Here's something most people don't know until they need a lawyer. The City of Maricopa is in Pinal County, not Maricopa County. That matters. Injury claims filed in court go through Pinal County Superior Court in Florence. Different courthouse, different judges, different filing procedures, different timelines.
